Emmy Hackathon 2026
Submit your project
Submissions are open until 23:59 AoE on Tuesday, October 27. You can submit again until then, and we review your latest entry.
Before you submit
- Make sure we can open both links: a public git repository on GitHub, GitLab, Codeberg, sourcehut or a host of your own, and a video shared so that anyone with the link can watch it.
- Record a video of 3 to 5 minutes in which you walk us through your project in your own voice. YouTube, Vimeo, PeerTube and Google Drive links all work.
- You can use AI coding assistants. Your video has to show that you understand how your compiler works, and submissions where the understanding seems to have been handed to an AI aren't eligible for prizes.
- Teams of up to three submit once, with every member listed.
- The task repository explains how compilers are evaluated. We announce the winners two to three weeks after the deadline.
